ABOUT

The Play Therapy Training Institute, Inc. offers a variety of one day Play Therapy Seminars to psychologists, play therapists, counselors, social workers, nurses and other mental health professionals.  For students who wish to take a large number of seminars (usually over a number of years), a Certificate Program in Play Therapy is offered.

TRAINING SITE

All the Play Therapy Seminars will be held at the office of The Play Therapy Training Institute, Inc., 983 Route 33, Building 2 ~ Suite C, Monroe Township, NJ 08831, (609)448-2145, located approximately 2.5 miles east of the New Jersey Turnpike at exit 8. Registration for each seminar will be held in the front office between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. on the days scheduled. Bagels and coffee will be provided. Training room temperature may fluctuate. Please dress comfortably and bring a sweater or jacket into the building with you. An exhibit of Play Therapy books will be available.

We do not discriminate and we will make any reasonable accommodation to ensure that workshops are accessible. We welcome personal helpers/caregivers/interpreters as well.

CONTINUING EDUCATION

These Seminars are approved by the Association for Play Therapy (APT) Approved Provider 95-002. The Play Therapy Training Institute is also approved as a provider of continuing education for the New Jersey Board of Social Work. Six (6) continuing education credits will be awarded to participants who attend each entire day-long workshop. Partial credit cannot be given for late arrivals or early departures. CANCELLATION POLICY

To cancel your seminar reservation, we must receive your notice NO LATER than 30 days before the seminar date. All cancellations and changes to other workshops will be subject to a $35.00 administrative charge per seminar.
