CRITICAL DILEMMAS IN PLAY THERAPY: WHAT TO DO UNTIL THE SUPERVISOR ARRIVES
Instructors: David A. Crenshaw, Ph.D., ABPP, RPT-S
Monday July 20, 2009 - 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.  Credits 6.0

Even seasoned play and child therapists encounter agonizing dilemmas in therapy that require careful deliberation, consultation and/or supervision.  In the presenter's 40 year career as clinician and supervisor of interns and clinicians, he will engage participants in an interactive discussion about some of the most vexing of these issues, the one's that tempt us to consider early retirement. During the course of the day, participants will be encouraged to offer their own most trying and challenging practice dilemmas.  This workshop will be of benefit to all levels of experience but will be of particular interest to experienced play therapists.

INSTRUCTOR: David A. Crenshaw, Ph.D., ABPP, RPT-S is Director and Founder of the Rhinebeck Child and Family Center, LLC.  He is past President of the New York Association for Play Therapy.  He is co-author with John B.
