Course Description
Techniques are the tools that play therapists use to help children resolve their psychological difficulties. In this seminar, a wide variety of play techniques will be described, including fantasy techniques, storytelling techniques, expressive art techniques, play toys/objects techniques, and group play techniques. These play tools all meet the criteria of being specific, practical, and relatively easy to implement. In addition, they are based on solid theoretical frameworks and extensive practical application by play therapists around the world. They should be of interest to beginning and experienced play therapists of all theoretical orientations.
