This advanced course will go through the process and planning for treatment of children who have been traumatized through abuse, natural disaster or other incidents that have been experienced. The participants will see how the process is used is Type I trauma as well as in Type II traumas and how different methods are used in play therapy to facilitate the healing process of the children. Some experiential work will be done, and illustrations will be provided through case presentations.
